RSA 275:56 Amended the law by inserting a new paragraph. It will include that information received from an employee on health, fitness, or lifestyle shall not be retained in an employees personnel file and is inadmissible in any proceedings under RSA 281-A. Effective 07/10/07
RSA 279:1 Amended the law by inserting a new paragraph.
This will define “tip”. Effective

RSA 279:26-b New paragraph “Tip Pools” Relative to tips being the property of the employee.
This also addresses voluntary participation in a valid tip pool.

HB514 Increases the New Hampshire Minimum Wage to $6.50 per hour effective September 1, 2007 than to $7.25 effective September 1, 2008. This also redefines the base rate for a tipped employee. Effective 9/01/07
HB611 Amends RSA 275:43 to allow the use of payroll cards that meet the statutory requirements as a method of payment of wages. This shall take effect on September 11, 2007
SB244 Amends RSA 275:48 “Withholding of Wages” which defines legal deductions accruing to the benefit of the employee that can be made from an employee’s wages. This also defines what a “Uniform” means. Effective 9/11/07
HB797 Amends the law protecting nurses from retaliation for refusing to work more than 12 hour shift with certain exceptions or a special agreement. Effective 1/1/08
HB533 Amends the law requiring bidders on state and local building and public works contracts over $100,000 to certify that the employees have completed an Occupational Safety and Health Administration construction safety program. Effective sections (1 –3) 9/14/07 remainder 7/16/07
HB99 Amends the law allowing a 16 or 17 year old who has graduated from high school or obtained a GED, to work without written parental permission. Effective 1/01/08
