1. Do I need my Air Tank inspected?

Yes, provided it is five cubic feet in volume.

2. Do boilers located in apartment buildings require inspection?

Yes if the output BTU capacity is 200,000 BTU'S or greater and located in a building of three units or greater.

3. Who is qualified to do boiler and pressure vessel inspections in New Hampshire?

4. What is the difference between a high and low pressure boiler?

Low pressure boiler operates at a pressure of 15 PSI or lower.

5. What should I do when I received an overdue boiler or pressure vessel notice?

Call your insurance inspector or the Department of Labor.

7. My boiler or pressure vessel leaks. Can I have it repaired?

No. Presently 48 or 50 states mandate these inspections.

20. How do I acquire a NH elevator or accessibility lift mechanic license?

Download the application form from our website, mail the completed application to the New Hampshire Department of Labor, PO box 2076, Concord, NH 03302-2076 with a check for the amount of $50.00. The check must be made payable to: NH Dept. of State Treasury. Be sure the check is signed, dated and write what check is for in appropriate space provided. 24. How many questions are on the exams and what type of questions?

There are 2 parts of appropriately 50 questions on each exam. The type of questions on the exam are true or false, multiple choice, fill in the blank and essay questions. 25. What is the requirement to pass the exams?

29. What happens if my license expires?

If not renewed within 30 days from the expiration date, you must reapply and you may not work on any related equipment alone.
