1. Are leasing companies required to be bonded? Yes, this is part of the licensing requirements.
2. Does the leasing company provide workers' compensation coverage? Yes, under their name unless the leasing company is insured in the assigned risk market. In this instance, each client will have a policy in their name.
3. Do clients retain authority to hire and fire employees? Yes, client becomes on-site supervisor for employee leasing company.
4. What is the definition of employee leasing company? A company who assumes human resource functions on behalf of a client employer. The client and its employees become employees of the employee leasing company on a contractual basis.
