Request for Child Labor
The employer who is intending to employ a minor 16 or 17 years old must obtain
written parental permission for the 16th and 17th year of the minor to work at the business.
Parental Consent Form
Employers, parents and minors needing to know NH requirements and limitations regarding Youth Employment may review the statute and the Administrative rules. Under the provisions of the minimum wage law, students may be placed at a work place
at a sub-minimum rate or at no rate of pay when working for practical experience.
An employer or a school applying for a sub-minimum or no rate must complete the following
